AUL Has a New Name
Over the past couple of years, you may have noticed the tagline, "a OneAmerica financial partner", on correspondence you received from American United Life Insurance Company (AUL). There are three different companies that fall under the OneAmerica umbrella- AUL, Cherokee National Life Insurance Company, and CNL/Insurance America. The company has announced that they are stepping up their branding campaign and the OneAmerica name will replace the names of all three partner companies.
You and your employees should receive a communication from OneAmerica later this month explaining how this change will affect everyone. For the most part, it is business as usual. The terms of your insurance contract will not be altered. In fact, AUL will still be underwriting and issuing the insurance products. However, you will start to see the OneAmerica name appear on future correspondence, in addition to being incorporated into their customer service and voice response systems.
