New USERRA Poster
As of March 10, 2005, all employers are required to notify employees of their rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), which sets out employment reinstatement and benefits rights for service members. USERRA applies to all employers regardless of size, including federal, state and local government employers.
The Department of Labor (DOL) has prepared a poster that employers can use to meet this new requirement. The poster should be placed in a central location at your facility where similar postings are housed. For your convenience, the link to the poster at the DOL's website is below.
