Lincoln National to Buy Jefferson Pilot
Earlier this week it was announced that Lincoln National, a Philadelphia-based life insurance company, agreed to purchase Jefferson Pilot. While this transaction is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval, it is expected that the deal will close in the first quarter of 2006.
RSI Gallagher will continue to monitor the merger of these two companies and keep you informed of any pertinent information. It is unlikely that this change will have any impact on the terms of your policy with Jefferson Pilot.
